Is it just me or does Lethal Company have a Retro-Futurism vibe?

I mean, it’s been proven that this game takes place in a far future, but some of the technology are considered vintage (Like Computer Terminals, Rusty Spaceships and Walkie-Talkies)

Not only that, there isn’t any technologies of the present day (Like Smartphones and Air Conditioning) AND the zap gun looks very cartoonish for modern standards of futuristic guns.

I like how this art style looks so grim yet so cartoony at the same time

From the comic book style of shading to the dark themes it possesses, the studio really did a good job of remaking their old flash games
