No, I will not meet you at the street. I put meet at door for a reason and I'm not walking over to you.

I work at a house overnight and frequently order food when I forget to pack stuff or don't have the time to pre make something. I put meet at door because I've had issues with people leaving it in the past, either in front of the screen or in the middle of the driveway, oddly enough I don't have this issue at home but whatever not the point. The driveway here is long, I mean very long, probably about 10-12 car lengths. There's a circle at the end of the driveway to turn around so you don't have to back out and it's actually constructed pretty intelligently. Now the big thing to note here is the road this house is on has no sidewalks or wiggly room to park, I mean it's two lanes very thin and worst part it's right before a giant incline so it's pretty unsafe to park. I ALWAYS leave in the notes to drive down the driveway and I will meet at the door, most of the time I'm standing there waiting to meet them waving my hand. Now occasionally some people will pull in and walk down the entire driveway, while that's annoying for both of us it's whatever really, I hate it but that's not a big deal, I'd have to say maybe 3 or 4 out of every 10 deliveries I get the person parks on the road and stands at the end of the driveway and messages they're here and just stands there. I don't understand at all. I've driven for Uber myself on and off and I cannot fathom how people ignore the delivery notes. I'm not walking down to a dangerous spot to meet you because you decided to either not read what I wrote or because you missed the sign at the end that says enter. Someone just got in an accident in front of the house a few weeks ago because they came flying up the hill and weren't looking while someone was turning in and they drove straight into the tree in front.

Okay that's my vent, sorry, I needed to rant a bit this happens more than it should lol.
