starting my collection
Starting my collection from the latest officially licensed volume locally (Vol. 9) but I just have to buy Vol. 8 too for these panels that I have to /see/ on paper.
I started with the anime but I did binge-read the manga up to the latest chapter in English and now I can enjoy the story again in my native language.
I'd say though because the story has a mystery-box narrative the readers have so much more information than Yuru himself, especially regarding the people related to the Higashi village. IIRC Yuru only knew Dera's general opinion on the prophecy and his different view with the village's radical (Chapter 10, Vol. 3) and also Roei's disagreement with the village's custom regarding the twins from Ken (Chapter 15, Vol. 4).
Now in Chapter 31, Vol. 8, we finally also learned about Hana's true feeling regarding the twins. I hope there will be a clear-cut communications between them so both Yuru and Asa know they still have actual allies even within people from the Higashi village.
