Hello! I am relatively new to tarot. I do readings for myself every day.

I want to make my boyfriend a home made birthday card, and i wanted to do a birthday reading for him, and then include it in the card (paint the cards, write about what they could mean for him). Can you do readings for people who are not present, not involved in the process?

also, would love any recommendations on the spread I could do for him! he is turning 31.

I am titrating up on Cromolyn Sodium for MCAS. For context, I also have EDS, POTS, and cervical instability.

I literally am taking an actual, singular drop of cromolyn every day in the morning before breakfast. However, i am getting headaches, stomachaches (my stomach feels like it is being gnawed inside out), and flared heart rate jumps from even a single drop.

I really need it to work, my mast cells are out of control right now. I eat 5 foods, and I react to everything. I miss food, i feel awful, I need this medicine to work.

Has this happened to anyone else? did the pots symptoms flares eventually dissipate for you?

Took my first dose of cromolyn today. I took literally a drop in water, as recommended by my doctor to titrate up. I took it at 11:40 and sometime between 1 pm and 2 pm, my heart rate dropped to 42, according to apple watch. I occasionally get bradycardia like this, the last time it went that low was when I had tried reintegrating a food.

I am just so depressed now. I didn't feel super bad after taking it. I actually felt like my heart rate was up, and I had a mild headache and stomach ache. I thought it had all gone remarkably well. the idea that i had, in fact, had a reaction to the very drug that is supposed to be helping me, is making me so upset. I don't know if I should take it tomorrow. I left a note for my doctor in the portal, but she probably won't get back to me until Monday. I just want to feel better and I thought this was going to help me. I can only eat five foods. Everything is so out of control. I really needed this to work.

Not sure what I am looking for in this post. Maybe similar stories with a positive outcome? I don't know, just feeling really disappointed.

I live on the UES, so local-ish would be ideal.

full disclosure, I am not terribly religious. I'd like a left leaning church (nothing too aggressive). I have heard of all souls, but their congregation is so large, and I'd like to be involved in a smaller community, if possible!

i grew up involved in a church and i miss being part of and supporting a community. i do find attending church rather peaceful and soothing. i'd especially love to find a church that has opportunities to volunteer with children and elders.

as a side note, sharing any opportunities (aside from church) to volunteer in the community would be greatly appreciated.
