i mainly purchased an e-reader so that i could get away from the backlight on my ipad.
i want a very very gentle screen for my eyes to gaze upon for hours at a time.

i tried to look up the differences in these two models but couldn’t find an example that satisfied my question.

so here i have both.
colorsoft on the left, paperwhite on the right.
both on 0 brightness and 0 warmth.

if you’re like me and want the brightness to be off most of the time, i’d definitely go for the paperwhite, as the colorsoft is VERY difficult to see in my room without any backlight or direct light.

i am returning the colorsoft.
