ok so this is a weird one
i'm between GPUs right now, waiting for my new card to arrive. i have a Ryzen 9 9700X which has NO integrated graphics, and no discrete GPU installed either. monitor plugged directly into the motherboard (MSI PRO B650-A WiFi).
ran DDU, wiped everything, booted up. got 60fps cap on the generic windows display driver, totally normal.
then i installed the AMD chipset drivers and... Adrenalin opened. full Adrenalin software. and the detected device is literally called "AMD Radeon Graphics (Primary/Integrated)". Anti-Lag enabled, Radeon Boost, Image Sharpening, all of it available.
i thought it was just a display bug so whatever. then out of curiosity i launched Valorant and i'm getting 160-190fps in deathmatch. consistently. no GPU in the machine at all.
i genuinely cannot find anything about this online. is the B650 chipset display controller doing something weird with the driver stack? because this makes no sense to me
