After the 1st weekend of Nightmarked gone, i must say that neither the years of PvP nor Vet pug dungeaons, made me despise the average ESO player as much as this event.
The ignorance and icompetence, the sheer unwillingness to do anything that goes beyond spamming heavy attaks or what ever spammable you use, is just absolutely incomprehensible to me. Im still buffled.
You can watch folks spamming rotations on enemies in imunity phase. You tell them the mechanic how to close imunity phase, "no Sir ima just keep spamming, someone else take care of it".
Then about 10% of all players use to res people. Tank dead, Boss goes on a run, "res? not on my watch!" DD being hunt by boss, runs him straight into the stacked DDs at other boss. Complete wipe. Glad you saved that soul gem Joe!
Of all three dungeons, that were merely difficult, there is only one with a deadly mechanic. You explain it to group. No response. First round fails, ok shit happens. Second round same. Ask in group chat whats the issue, explain again. Still no response. Its like talking to braindead zombies.
And at last, a big thanks for wating my time to the "i join anyway" folks that are surprised when not being able to enter a dungeon even though you write the requirements in the group search titel.
All in all, i think ZOS went a good way with the design of the event zone. The difficulty and need of groups. The mechanics with the key and the loot pool. Its the predominant player mentality of "i want the success being served to me on a silverplate, while i do less than the bare minimum" that sucks.
