482 and employer wants to clawback fees

My employer paid upfront visa/sponsorship costs when relocating my family to Australia. We originally agreed I’d repay part of the family visa costs over time through payroll deductions.

I’m now leaving earlier than expected, and they’ve asked if I can also repay some additional visa-related costs they originally covered.

As I’ve looked into it more, it seems there are strict rules around which 482 costs employers can legally recover from employees (especially sponsorship/nomination costs vs personal visa application costs).

I have a good relationship with the employer and don’t believe there was any bad intent — I just want to make sure both sides handle it correctly and legally.

Has anyone dealt with this before or received advice on what is actually recoverable under a 482 arrangement?
