I just received a Comma 4 and installed it in my 2025 Honda Ridgeline. I connected the Nidec cable inline and then the USB cable to the device, however it doesn’t seem to detect that it’s installed in the car. The main screen just says Openpilot and when I select that it says “start the car to use openpilot”, otherwise it does nothing. I’m pretty sure I’ve got the connections right, I even reseated them several times. I also tried running the optional OBD cable but it still doesn’t appear to be doing anything when I start the truck or begin driving. I updated to openpilot 0.11.0. Any suggestions on what I might be missing? The only potential issue is the USB-C cable seems very loose, but the unit is powered so I’m not sure that would cause any issues.
