Did not expect to have a haul like THIS, this EARLY!, in this month of May. Normally I post a big haul at the END of the month. But, a crazy occurrence happened. So, May 2nd was Free Comic Book day. I live in a small town with a shop that ONLY specializes in back issues. Which is where I do most of back issue digging at (they get good stuff in). Well, this year they hopped onto the Free Comic Book Day trend (they did as well last year, but it wasn't like THIS)... So, because of them being only having back issues, and they have to get books out of their sale boxes, they made four short boxes of comics that are not likely good sellers for them, and gave people a chance to just grab them for. However, in my case, it could be because of the perk of me being a regular customer, but, the guy decided to limit the number of free Comic grabs to like 15!, though, I only grabbed 12 (the the 12th one ain't shown here because it's post 90's).

So for the first two photos are ALL what I grabbed for free. (And yes, that is a Rust #1, which has a Spawn #1 preview add. How it was chosen to be in there with all the other comics that were there for free is beyond me, but, hey, no complaints lol). I also finished the Hawk & Dove mini series. Not bad.

As for the third pic. These are ones that I DID pay for. X-Men #205 purchased a couple weeks ago, and had been one that I searching for ever since I found Alpha Flight #33 a couple YEARS ago. Then the other two X-Men issues were just purchased a day ago. Had been looking for #162 for awhile as well, but for months all they had was #163, never felt comfortable getting #163 without #162, but, they got in a couple that hadn't been bagged and boarded, but for a copy that hadn't, it was a nice higher mid-grade, that I paid only $4! Whereas #163 only cost me $12. Whatever, I'm turning around and reselling it. It's all for the personal collection. A pretty crazy start to this month.
