



Yes, yes. Rob Liefeld. Brushing commonplace complaints aside for a moment: I will say that is single issue is genuinely unreadable. Honestly, I read a lot of low quality stuff but this is abysmal in numerous ways that I struggled to even get through it. I mean, come on, the two lady characters on the front look identical.
Did it get any better somewhere down the line?

Michael goes to Hollywood to protect a starlet from werewolves, vampires, and the CIA! Unfortunately, the starlet is also a killer werewolf!
Then, Michael becomes involved in the Wildstorm Rising event, because of a souvenir he took on a long ago mission!
After this, Michael tries to protect a reporter from Kaizen Gamorra, and runs into the Cybernary!
Next, the six part Brothers in Arms storyline reunites Michael with his old friends from Team 7! He teams up with them and Gen 13 to finally take down Gamorra!
After that, during the Fire From Heaven crossover, Michael gives his life to stop Damocles from conquering the world!
The final issue shows Michael's funeral as he is remembered by his friends!
Bonus 1! A crossover mini with Wolverine! The two team up to fight evil spirits and ninjas!
Bonus 2! Whilce Portacio variant cover to issue #5! It is part of a series of eight connecting variants which I'll post tomorrow!

Michael is pulled into a conflict to protect the second coming of Christ from the evil Black Angel, who wants to use the child's powers to kick off the end of the world!
Deathblow teams up with Warrior Nuns and literal angels as he tries to protect the child.
When the Black Angel resurrects the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, Michael receives some help from his old Team 7 comrades!
Team 7's help allows Michael to face the Black Angel in final combat! With the broken Sword of Heaven in hand, Michael defeats the Black Angel for good!

Anyway…this one reads more like a brochure and a “how to” (much akin to when Wizard Magazine used to have those drawing lessons) of Homage Studios. Honestly I have absolutely no clue if some of the characters ever made it past this. But all in all another fun read and look back at what was so cutting edge and new at the time.
