Thanks for the help everyone, will leave the post up in case anyone else didn't know cardboard spools ruin the AMS. Honest mistake I will now fix.

I've had this issue since I got my AMS two years ago but it's happening way more often. Everytime I do a multi colour print when the AMS rolls back the filament to unload it rolls off the filament, tangles at the side and then can't load again because it's so tangled. I'm wasting mountains of filament and a ridiculous amount of time taking it out, cutting it and reloading. I started a 24 hour print 36 hours ago and it's still not finished because of this issue.

Trying to print two 30x30mm half domes with a heavy duty magnet (20x5mm 7.4kg pull) embedded 1mm from the base plate. Made space for the magnet, made a little cover so the nozzle wouldn't scratch on it, printed a single colour test with a pause, popped the magnets and the covers on and immediately got a fan speed error.

Clearly the magnets are too strong and are going to fully stop the fan but I need them to be that strong for their intended purpose.

Is there any solution or just need to work out a different way of fastening other than magnets?
