In my experience, I have amassed over 1800 hours in Destiny and I have had more meaningful conversations and social interactions in Marathon than I ever did in Destiny 2.

I’m only making that comparison because before the launch of the game folks were making seem like a social hub like the tower were necessary for the game to launch.

Let me preface this is not a shot at Destiny just a comparison between the two experiences.

To be fair Marathon has a lot more dynamic aspect going on within a given run that will make you more likely to converse more.

But it does feel good to have over 100 plus connections and receive a good amount of invites daily and friend requests after going on epics runs.
