I had the brains for a city job, but you got the taste of a county cop

I get the overall meaning behind PTO but I don't understand what he means by "you got the taste of a county cop." How do you interpret this line?

Hello everyone,

I'm set to graduate in December of this year. It's my understanding that there is a recognition ceremony in December, as well as the option of participating in the May commencement ceremony in the Spring.

Just looking for thoughts and opinions here - is it common to do both? Is it weird to walk almost 6 months post graduation?

I'm a nontraditional student, graduating at 36 years old after dropping out my first time around. I'm excited to celebrate this achievement but undecided about the commencement situation.

I welcome input!
