Apartment scam - I realized - Prices went up and offer is low
I made a reservation to an apartment steps by the Colisseum but I found out then it was a scam because they tried to make me complete credit card details. When I advised, I called Booking and they told me that they would relocate me, since the prices went up a lot in that area. I requested them to first confirm if this cost was something they would assume and the operator said yes it almost suee let me check, Ill call you back. since she didn’t, I call them back and another operator raised it to senior management, and the offer she gave was to reimburse the difference in Booking credits to be used in 12 months, which clearly doesn’t work for me.
Has something like this happened to you before and do you have an idea on how should I manage this?
