I am Building a Free Alternative to CapCut: FlowClip
(I understand this post may fall under Rule #7 regarding promotion of alternative apps. However, FlowClip is a 100% free Android video editor and I’m sharing it because many users in the community are actively searching for CapCut alternatives.)
FlowClip is an Android video editor focused on community-made effects and customization.
Users can create and share their own effects, transitions, and text effects directly inside the app using GLSL shaders. Effects now also support PNG files, and .mp4 effect support is planned so creators can upload effects made in apps like After Effects.
FlowClip isn’t just about custom effects though, so here’s a simple comparison table between FlowClip and CapCut.
