Full disclosure water was spilled on the laptop while it was upside down and I don’t know how long it sat like that. Also a lot of mistakes were made so bear with me.
As soon as I realized it got wet I flipped it figuring it would drain out the bottom. And I let it air dry for about 12 hours. I tried turning it on to see if it would and it did but immediately froze. So I force restarted it and still nothing so I decided to leave it alone (after google said to leave it keyboard down for 48-72 hours)
After the 72 hours I tried turning it on again and it worked but after a few minutes it freezes and I have to force restart it. Right before it freezes though the fan will turn on and go really fast like it’s overheating. I’ve left it to see what it does and the computer stays stuck on whatever it was doing and the fan never stops (the most I’ve left it is an hour). What could it be just to know what to expect when I get it repaired.
