A small build I did a while ago, dedicated to one of the guys responsible for me spending way too much time and money on retro computers.
IBM Netvista
Celeron 633mhz
128SD RAM
ATI Radeon 7000 PCI
SoundMAX integrated audio
80gb HDD
Windows 98se

I love building the systems I could never afford back in the day. Brings back awesome memories of staying up all night playing UT2004, BioShock and Doom 3, smashing Doritos and just losing track of time. This build hits that exact era for me.
Specs:
• DFI LANParty P45‑T2RS Plus
• Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550
• 4GB Crucial Ballistix Tracer
• Dual Radeon HD 4890s (CrossFire)
• Windows 7 Ultimate
(By this stage and normally I'd be running a LED monitor. I didn't get around to doing the full set-up)
I love and mostly collect AGP graphics cards. I still can't get over the size of new cards. 5080 vs 5900 ultra
Most certainly not the best doom player or even good. But still enjoy it. Sound of the super shotgun. I'll usually take 2 or 3 networked systems to retro meets so people can come sit and play co‑op.
I have too many systems to show! So I've just done a bit of a random photo dump. When I get time I'll display them properly.
Minimal case modifications other than removing the HDD cage to fit the 5080. Working CD drive. Motherboard, CPU and RAM are due for upgrades soon but for now it’s still doing me well.
Built this system to run everything from pure DOS up through early‑2000s games — and to be the perfect machine for old‑school LAN meetups. Running Windows 98
