Have dramatically slowed sown with emptying my products. Maybe it was the heat, maybe it was a bout of illness and depression. Maybe both. But now that it has rained, all seems better in the world. :)

Bath and body works Vanilla Sandalwood body wash - This was a very enjoyable body wash throughout the winter. The prominent note is of sandalwood. It is not Mysore sandalwood and does not smell like Mysore sandal soap. But it is a very aromatic smoky sandalwood. The vanilla is not very prominent. It is there in the background as a support character to a very sandalwood first fragrance. It was quite warming and smoked up well in the shower steam. The formula of the aromatherapy range is far better than the regular range, which I enjoy. It washes out fast without leaving any residue. 4/5 Will Respurchase for winters

Bioderma pigment bio c concentrate- This was quite an expensive purchase, especially considering that this is a 15ml bottle which lasts barely a month, with judicious use. It is sold as two separate parts : powder and serum, which needs to be mixed into the bottle before starting use. The serum consistency is quite thick, but it is completely non-oily and absorbs well into the skin. Considering I have only used one bottle of it and I have two of these, I would defer, making my mind upon it until I have completed the second bottle. For now, I think it is quite effective. It has improved the texture of my skin and the depth of a few marks and the tone of my skin . But it is quite an expensive serum. For that, I will currently rate it a 3.5/5 .

Dove body wash - This one has the a strong typical dove soap smell. It is good when u first smell it, but by the third day u tire of it. And I couldn’t help but think of the banned ingredients ( Lillial ) included in dove fragrance. The wash has a creamy consistency. It is neither moisturising nor drying and washes off without leaving residue. It isn’t exceptional in any way. For that I rate it 3/5 WNRP

The ordinary glycolic acid toner - I have been using this toner from a looooong time. I have used it on my face, on my body and on my hair and scalp. I don’t like the oiliness it has . If I use it overnight, somehow, it doesn’t absorb quickly enough and ends up soaking into the pillow which I hate. To use it during the day, it feels too oily or sticky. hence, even though it is effective, I don’t end up using it often, except for as a pre-wash treatment to help with the dandruff and detangling. It is effective in all its uses. It does exfoliate. It does break down surface oils and dirt, but it’s just the oil texture which is turn off. 3.75/5 will repurchase ,but if I find a non oily one, I’d switch
