Is it only me or anyone else who haven't received ITR refund for last year, now this year's ITR window is coming again!

New here in Arrange marriage setup.

Had breakup recently, and honestly not over completely, but I am kind of certain in my head I want to move on.

So paid membership on Matrimonial site, and got few DMs and requests from few people mostly girl's parents.

Now I don't want to involve parents beforehand until something is finalized, they are simple people and can't handle too much- so it's again my responsibility to find the best...

Now my only query is - is it awkward for girl's parents to talk to me? Considering they have already seen that the profile is being operated by me- while sending or accepting request?

Whenever I receive a request, my first reply is- " it would be better if we can get to know each other to understand better" because my approach is understand the person and then talk to the parents.

When the profile is managed by self it's easy( but these profiles are less) but when the profile is managed by parents is my response(mentioned above) negatively taken?

Considering i don't want to involve my parent in the initial phase- what other better approach can I take?
