Final Grade Issues

Hi I desperately need help. One of my final grades was posted as a B+, but a part of a project grade and an extra credit assignment were missing. Since then, the missing project part was finally added into Brightspace AFTER final grades were released, and my Brightspace grade is now showing an A-. However, the extra credit still hasn’t been added, and it would raise my final grade from an A- to an A.

The extra credit was a discussion post assignment that already closed, so I can’t access my submission anymore to double check it so I essentially have no proof unless my professor opens up the discussion post again. I already emailed both my professor and the course mailbox yesterday, but nobody has responded yet, and my professor is apparently out of office until the end of May. I’m especially stressed because I’m transferring schools next semester and need my final transcript processed ASAP for financial aid, registration, and advising.

If the professor is gone and nobody responds, who would I contact next for something like this? Has anyone had a final grade changed after grades were already submitted? My advisor said to do the grade appeal process but it requires me to have proof of my extra credit assignment and I don’t have access anything…

hello, i’m a freshman in college rn and I desperately need your guys’ advice. I didn’t know where to ask this but do you know what the rescinding policies are for transfer students or if any transfer students you know were rescinded or got a letter asking for an explanation on why their grades dropped? I got accepted into the LAS school at UIUC after my first semester of college with a 4.0 gpa, but this spring semester, I maxed out 18 credits and took multiple higher level classes relating to my stats major, and I’m projected to get a mix of A’s and B’s with one C/D+. The class is an upper division class and this was my first semester taking difficult non-gen ed classes. I’m really stressed right now because I put so much effort into getting in as a transfer and this is my dream school, and since i’ve heard things about how UofI rescinded people in the past for bad grades, I was wondering what your thoughts were?
