The most specific CDG ever
I’m trying to imagine - in the Venn Diagram of CDG wearers with ties to the University of Cincinnati - how many people that might include.

Hi everyone - I picked this up in a thrift store that only sells second hand clothes they bring in from Japan. Thought the larger colored crocodile was fun and got it for a few bucks. Do we think it’s legit, and if so any thoughts on why the larger and colorful croc?
As you can see, the rubber band on one of the shoes is half ripped. What would be the best way to repair it?

Saw this 1990s Gucci men’s leather coat in great condition.

Hi everyone - I bought this probably around 2010, give or take a few years. I wore it twice, forgot about in a closet, and now looking to sell. It’s in excellent condition. Leather looks and feels amazing, the lining is fully intact, attached at the two points.
Made in Japan during LGB’s Maniac Corp years.

I had mentioned in a post that I had never worn my Wyatt Chelsea boots with anything other than my slim SL tuxedo. Why not? someone replied, they wore them with jeans and trousers all the time. So last night, wearing my beloved Loewe trousers (the pants are mostly cotton, the bottom 9” is nylon), I removed my usual Prada clunky boots and went with the SLs. The contrast between the wider leg and the narrow shoe was love at first fit. (Couldn’t get a decent photo).

In Paris with my daughter she picked out this $1200 leather Rick Owens coat for me to try on. Had all the tags. I did (it was heavy!) and she said I should get it. I didn’t. Now I’m back in the States so that opportunity has passed. But wondering - in retrospect Should I have gotten it?
Hello! I just returned from Paris and now want to spend a month there, late September to late October. Probably in the 10th or 11th. Any advice for finding one month rentals?

Your forever Patagonia sweater. $110 including shipping inside the continental U.S.
Yes, Patagonia aficionados, this really is the classic 100% wool Made in Hong Kong zip-up. Just because Patagonia won’t make these anymore, anywhere, at even twice the price with lesser materials - recycled wool blends??? - doesn’t mean you can’t get one. In a beautiful heather blue color, this find is in excellent condition save for a tiny slit (1/4”) in the fabric on the back (see photo).
