Rant about antis in a fandom I'm in liking a character that canonically commits sexual harassment

Hi, so this is for the Corporate Clash fandom. They're VERY much anti-filled and even banned me in-game for being a darkshipper. I recognize very few people here will know this fandom, but I want to rant and I am sure as hell not posting it in any Toontoon subs. Obvious warning for talk of (fictional) sexual harassment.

I find it strange that the Corporate Clash fandom and devs are very much mostly antis when a well-liked character is literally a sexual harasser and no one acknowledges it. Misty Monsoon/Rainmaker has stalked William Boar for AT LEAST 9 months to the point where he's reported her five times.

I've seen people undermine this as William being grumpy when. I don't think someone submitting 5 reports for harassment and stalking is them just being a downer. And this doesn't mean you're not allowed to like Rainmaker obviously- I love her, personally- but I do think it's inherently a bit hypocritical to whine about how someone writing weird ships is normalizing abuse when your fav is a sexual harasser, and especially if you undermine said sexual harassment because you like her. I hate to be that person but I do think the reaction would be very different if Misty Monsoon wasn't feminine presenting.

Edit to add: I've also seen people say that William Boar was clearly exaggerating or making things up when. I'm going to be honest I don't see how you can NOT read this as, "Cogs.inc doesn't give a shit about the wellbeing of their employees as long as their performance isn't affected" given that's very much fitting.
