Just left the OB being. I am 29 weeks 2 days. They told me baby is over 99th percentile and measuring about 4 pounds 5 ounces but of course is an estimate. We also are 100% positive that we have the gestational age correct as I tracked everything while trying to conceive and up until 13 weeks baby was measuring on track. After that, he started measuring ahead. He is also transverse with his head being on my left side.

They said they will have to have me come back in 4 weeks for another scan. I do not have gestational diabetes, they tested me twice to confirm because of how big he is and I passed twice with flying colors. I am only 5’2 on a good day. My husband is 6’2.

Has anyone had a baby this big? Did you opt for a c section? Or an early induction?

I’m terrified of the unknowns and terrified of him getting stuck and having a shoulder dystocia. They can be very traumatic and cause lifelong complications if they’re stuck such as erbs palsy, encephalopathy, nerve damage, etc

Edit:
I’d like to add, he has been measuring ahead since 13 weeks. It started at a few days, then at 18 weeks he was about 10 days ahead, now he is about 28 days ahead. We’ve know he was “ahead” for a while, but he is just getting so big so quick idk what to do!
