I want to play fellowship of the ring and the hobbit on my Xbox one x and they are not backwards compatible

I saw a week ago that they were cutting features out of the base model including the ram upgrades, but then a few days ago I saw it will actually have 12?

I know we don’t know for certain, but what’s your best guess?
