AITA for walking out of a potentional arguement with my mum
So i 26F (asian) was asking my mum if she need help getting any groceries as im going out to get snacks (potato chips) for an upcoming pinic with friends.
However before i could mention that it was for a picnic, my mum immediately scolded me for eating too much potato chips and got myself constipated.
However the real reason for my constipation was that i ate too much meat (mainly beef) during a kbbq, did eat enough enoki but didnt drink enough water.
And because my mum was scolding me and i was sick and tired of it since she always scold me for the things i do just becuse she dont like it (like me playing games during my non sch days because im an adult and i should stop playing games already games not for people my age anymore, going out with friends too much because she thinks it's a waste of money)
so i walked away from the convo and she was angry that i dont want to listen to her
afterwards i was thinking back if i did eat chips during that one week of constipation and i realise i didnt so i went back and confront her asking her when did she saw me eating chips during the one week and she went okok whatever u say. And since sunday she has been giving me the silent treatment
So aita for walking away? Asking because i feel like i shouldnt have valued my own peace
