Embedded LED strip in my toilet went bust. It started with intermittent flickering and one day I heard a pop sound and it has not been working.

From my research, it seems like I need to first try replacing driver and this is what I found. Circle jack was plugged into what seems like a dumb adapter and peeled wires were plugged into power supply.

Is my best bet to simply replace the adapter with equivalent specification one and do the same massacre?

I am in Malaysia for work trip and I have an opportunity to clock in a new brand for the promotion.
I am about to pull the trigger but curious to know if I am throwing money away.
Currently standing at 20 nights with 8 brands clocked so far. Hope to get platinum this year but not sure if i will be able to hit it (even with promotion).
