Moving to Italy
Hello everyone! Recently I have been considering moving to Italy from Sweden for roughly a year and have some questions. First of: do i have to register under an address? From what i have read you are supposed to if you live in Italy for over 3 months. However some half-sketchy sites have told me that it’s more of a formality than a requirement if you arent working (which i will not be doing).
Secondly: are there any cities you recommend, for context I am 18, pretty social but not huge on like clubs, would love the beach to be nearby and don’t really care if its a huge city or a smaller one, as long as it is possible to make friends its fine with me. I have studied Italian for almost 3 years and will continue doing so during my stay so I hope language wont be a huge limiting factor when it cones to socializing.
I have considered Genova but some claim that its
relatively hostile towards outsiders, is this true?
