This started a couple days ago. I was playing with some online friends (I’ll call them Mark, Rick, and Sam) in a Discord server I made.

Out of nowhere, Rick told Mark “fuck you” and left the server. I asked what happened, and he just said Mark was “annoying,” which confused me because nothing had really happened. I didn’t push it and just kept playing with Mark.

The next day, I saw Sam had left the server too. When I asked Mark about it, he said Sam had reported him on Discord, which apparently got some of his features restricted. I wasn’t there when that happened, so I don’t know the full story.

Later, I realized Sam had unfriended me on Roblox and Steam and blocked me on Discord and TikTok. I was confused because I hadn’t even been involved in whatever happened between him and Mark.

Since I couldn’t contact Sam, I messaged Rick and asked if he could check on him. I thought maybe Sam was having a bad day or dealing with something, and I just wanted to make sure he was okay.

At first Rick responded normally, but when I brought it up again, he suddenly got really aggressive, started swearing at me, told me to leave him alone, and then blocked me.

Now I’m just confused. I wasn’t even online for most of the conflict, and I feel like I got caught in the middle for no reason. At the same time, I’m wondering if I crossed a line by asking Rick to get involved instead of just leaving it alone.
