Got a £100 parking charge fine

Got a £100 private parking charge from bristol airport, England and not sure what to do.

Incident date: 23/03/2026 (08:50)
Notice issued: 30/03/2026
Appeal deadline: 27/04/2026
But I only received the letter on 03/05/2026.

So by the time I even saw it, the appeal window was already gone.

This happened during my induction for a new job I got after 9 months of searching. The instructions in the joining email were unclear about where to go/stop, and I ended up stopping briefly and got fined. I was already stressed, trying to figure things out, looking around, and honestly worried I might mess up and lose the job.

Now when I try to appeal, the portal says I can’t appeal anymore and I have to pay the full £100.

Feels like I never even got a fair chance to challenge it. What should I do in this situation? Where to mail? Worth fighting or just pay it?

I have GoSkippy comprehensive insurance and want to do Evri deliveries part time. I have heard Evri provides top-up insurance for delivery, but how do I actually get it?

Everyone is saying I must inform my insurer and they might not be happy with it. What happens if I do not inform them?

I tried getting hire and reward insurance, but no company is giving it to me, maybe because I cancelled a few insurance policies myself before. What should I do?

I work in a pretty toxic workplace right now. Constant gossip, negativity, people talking behind each other’s backs all day. I am already changing careers and starting a completely different profession later this year (Sep). I have the offer for the course. But until then I am stuck here

The issue is I need a few days off in July for an open day + basic maths/English assessments for the new field. It is literally on the opposite side of the country, so I need at least 3 days. I applied for leave 2.5 months in advance (14–20 July) and they rejected all of it except one day.

Now I genuinely do not know what to tell them. I obviously cannot say “I am leaving for another profession soon.” Sick leave feels risky too. Has anyone been in this situation before? What reason would you realistically give?
