I'm sorry for the format, I'm on phone and I can't see half of the screen because of a huge crack

Around march I started chatting with a guy who I met on a game, we chatted pretty actively first I made sure I asked about his boundaries and he said he really didn't have any but i was still careful about the topics we talked about, I don't know how to properly explain it but we just clicked, same future plans, almost the same interests and opinions on "controversial" topics. We even flirted a bit with each other

After like a month of chatting we got drunk and had a more deep convo, and after that be became more distant like he would chat less and he said he is tired, which I understood since I have been there where you only have energy to breath, been there. He also told me he is not interested in dating and tbh I wasn't either but we still discussed topics related to relationships and love very rarely

We still talked sometimes a lot sometimes just once a day which I was fine with but one day I got carried away and sended like 20 messages because I was venting and after that he told me he gets overwhelmed when i text him a lot so I asked him if I should only ask a question a day and to me at least he didn't give a straight answer to that he just told me to slow down so i did, looking back I should have asked him to clarify what exactly he wanted, I tried to limit my texting to only a senfence or two and a question or two a day and when i noticed he didn't respond anymore i would just not write anything but a few days later he said I overstepped his boundary bout the texting so after that i really only one question a day but we didnt really chat much for a week i think, and then he said he was stressed which was fine i did overstep, and then he went to a party where he drank idk how much but he does get pretty honest when he drinks and he said he misses me ans likes texting me (i passed out and didnt respond to him for like an hour) and the next day he was being a bit more talkative so i asked 4 questions (1 about the topic we were talking about and when he didn't respond 2 asking if hw is okay and how is he doing and another trying to change the topic) He said a while back that sometimes he forgets to respond and if I send more questions on accident he sometimes responded to the last one or one that he wants to responds to He didn't respond for a day so the next day I asked if he is okay because I thought something was wrong And the day after I sended a pic of his favourite flowers and just said hope he is doing alright and today he again said that I overstepped his boundary and I just don't understand he said he likes texting me and missed me and was talkative so I tried to engage more, I didn't wanted to ask questions like "is it okay for me to text you more today?" Or something simular.

Also I have had friends in the past but those friendships quickly turned to toxic or they just left after a few weeks of talking
