So, I’ve had cats my entire life, 50 years plus. I’ve never had a void and after my divorce, I ended up with a furry black nightmare that had been returned to the shelter for being “too obnoxious “. Of course, this is the kitten I needed in my life at that stage. She has grown into a hyper-intelligent mischief monster that is extremely attached to me…just me. Is this a black cat thing in your experience? Just curious.
