Anyone else wondering if the "technical clue" solver had a nudge to help them find the hidden message?

Due to the recent shadiness on display, people are asking questions.

Has the T Rex breached the ancient gates?

Does The Man in Black wait in Shadowed Sight?

In the black of night lives the tale

Of the snarling, bloody, Hound of Hell

Hark! Watching the circle round

Hear! Hear! The terrible sound

Chaos! Fury! A Monkey's Paw!

Howling maw, tooth and claw!

GET AFTER IT BOYS

GET TO EM BLUE

DAWG WILL HUNT

I went exploring today.

I found these freshwater mussels by the crick. I know how much Posey likes shellfish so he's going to be disappointed that some critter got to it first.

I was going to put a stalk on this little herd of deer but the wind wasn't right and I didn't want to wait for them to come all the way down the hill. I saw the one deer first and I yodeled and the rest came out to see what was the fuss. They were probably about 400 or 500 yards away.

I think they are probably descendants of that buck Ma Posey popped that one time. I think the one that stopped at the top of the hill and stared at me probably had recently taken a dump on the treasure at the hidey spot and was laughing at me.

That busted tree was standing less than a year ago ha ha. I used it for orienteering and sat under it last summer, so I remember it specifically. And you know what, I was surprised to see it fallen over like that. Just goes to show, doesn't it.

There was a hawk hunting around the valley all morning. Hey Hawkie, get down here and clean up some of these pocket gophers! They're tearing the place up! Lazy ass!

While I was watching those deer, I saw a tanker and fighter jet fly over and it looked like they were refueling. They were at a high altitude and went over the horizon before I could get a photo. Didn't expect to see that!

Also, I watched some ranchers moving their herd to the spring pasture. I liked it, it made me feel good. It made me feel happy.

First of all, the cipher solve.

It is not clear whether he knew that there were too many clock times in the series before he announced that there was a "cipher" involved. He was doing interviews very soon after the series premier and I have no idea if he had actually watched the series in its final edited form before doing those interviews. But apparently not.

In his latest website announcement, he states that he asked Netflix for the clock times that would appear on screen. I am a bit puzzled why he would do that, instead of just watching the series himself and confirming everything BEFORE saying anything about it (this includes EVERYTHING, not just the cipher clues).

I understand that timing can be an issue and he's only one person but I definitely would have not said anything at all about any clue from the series until I had watched it front to back as many times as necessary, until I was completely comfortable with the situation. I would not trust anyone in TV production to this task.

I have two words to describe this debacle: SLAH PEE

If the cipher (such as it is) doesn't help in finding the treasure, once he realized that it got messed up, he could have just not mentioned it as part of the treasure hunt. Or, he could have eliminated the stray clock times in an earlier interview or just made the correction on his website. Think of that what you will.

Part Two.

I know many people enjoy Posey's continued interaction with searchers. Many people struggle to understand clues or the poem or how things fit together and quickly run out of ideas, and look to Posey for guidance. This is understandable, however, there ARE OBVIOUS and EASY ways (such as his website) for interacting with the public at large. In the modern era of social media and such I realize that some things are just inevitable and they just are what they are. But it's really not that difficult to just not log on to these sites or talk to individual searchers. Nobody is going to think worse of a person for exercising discipline regarding propriety and boundaries, and if they do then they're not a good person anyway. If there is some additional clue or hint or whatever that he wanted to get out there, just post it on the Announcements page.

Part Three

This builds on the first two parts. Posey has made some mistakes. He has made obvious, admitted mistakes, and mistakes that we can point out or debate over.

The Problem is that there may be mistakes that most people are not going to be aware of. There may be some contradictory things, some confused things, some incorrect things that people are trying to shoehorn into some kind of reasonable poem solution or thought pattern. It is a tough one and you're going to have to trust your instincts.

Part Four

This builds on Part Three. There are various indications that BOTG are necessary to counteract the doubt and concern introduced by certain statements and topics. For example, Posey's concerns over AI that I do not want to get into more detail over here because it could only make it worse. But if you put some thought into it you could work it out. There are very specific things that people will be confused over until they get into the right groove whilst BOTG; you will come to understand some rather confusing concepts when you get in position.

Part Five

Gnashing, thrashing, howling Maw!

In a Fever, Tooth and Claw!
