BAMS students who explored beyond clinics/hospitals — what opportunities did you find?

Hey everyone! I'm a BAMS student trying to build some real experience outside of just college. I've been looking for internships, volunteering opportunities, ambassador programs ,fellowships, research programs, NGOs, startups, healthcare communities, or organizations or any kind of contribution role with Ayurveda or healthcare organizations that accept BAMS students ...national or international both work for me.

Anything counts honestly ... NGOs, wellness brands, research orgs, public health initiatives, even online/remote stuff. Just want to do something meaningful while I'm still studying.

I mainly want exposure, networking, skill-building, and experience outside regular academics.

Would really appreciate any leads, platforms, organizations, LinkedIn pages, communities, or personal experiences. 😭

If anyone has done something like this or knows of any organizations that are open to BAMS students, please drop it below. Would really appreciate it! 🙏🏻

abroad opportunities after BAMS (Ayurveda)

I’m currently doing BAMS in India and honestly I don’t see myself doing MD, joining a clinic/hospital, becoming MO, or preparing for government/civil exams.

My main goal is to settle abroad after completing BAMS because I want a better lifestyle and better opportunities. I’m okay with changing fields completely or doing non-clinical healthcare jobs too. Salary, work-life balance, and chances of settling abroad matter more to me than practicing Ayurveda in India.

I feel stuck in this degree and don’t really have interest in clinical practice anymore.

What realistic options do I have abroad after BAMS? Mainly interested in countries like USA, UK, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, etc. Not really interested in Gulf countries like UAE.

I want a genuinely better lifestyle and good pay, not just a job.

Any countries that accept BAMS in some way?

  • Non-clinical healthcare careers with good pay?
  • Public health / healthcare management / research / psychology / acupuncture / nutrition etc?
  • Courses or exams I should start preparing for now?
  • Anyone who switched fields successfully after BAMS and moved abroad?
  • Which careers abroad have the best lifestyle + decent salary
  • Do I need a bridge course or additional degree, or can I pivot with BAMS + extra certifications/skills?
  • Has anyone here actually moved to one of these countries after BAMS into a non-clinical career? What did your path look like?

Would appreciate honest guidance from people who’ve actually explored this path 🙏

Any good birthday celebration places in nashik?

Not looking for the usual spots like Amandah or Millionaire...something different with aesthetic ambience, good food, and space for a small group.
