Just had to turn down a job offer and feeling rotten about it

The company prides themselves on their allyship with the disabled community, but when I went to interview the fella was very adamant that “if you can’t handle physical labour, you're really going to struggle with this job.”

I‘ve had moderate CFS for over 15 years now. I struggle even lifting my laundry basket when it’s full at the moment — so when the call came with the offer, I was pleased, but I knew I had to decline.

It‘s for my health because I know my own body and what I can handle but I still feel bad about it :( I’ve been job hunting for over a year with no success and when I finally get an offer, I turn it down. I hope I don’t end up regretting it

The first time it happened it was after I told them off for their behaviour but this time I was legit just sat there lmao and now there’s potentially a video posted of me getting mad that a little shit harassed me 🥲 Never going outside again
