I’d love to get your perspective on something.
I (F28) have been seeing someone (M30) for about a month now — we’ve had four really nice dates (usually around 5 hours, and once even 10 hours), roughly once a week. We told each other that we enjoy each other’s company.
However, there hasn’t been any physical sensual contact. There has been polite little hugs to greet each other, light brushes of hands/arms or backs while talking or walking down the street next to each other, or just contact when we danced together (we both like to dance), but it was really nothing more in terms of touch than when we dance with a partner we're not interested in. We also haven’t talked about how we feel, where this is going, or what we’re each looking for.
For context, he’s very shy, and we already knew each other a bit beforehand since we have mutual friends.
From your perspective, how would you interpret this situation? He is a great person, I really like him but I am afraid of misreading things/pushing too much and/or catching feelings with an unclear situation like this one. I feel like there's an elephant in the room.
