I’d like to share an experience and have medium’s feedbacks. I’ve never considered myself a medium or any such thing. I always was very high intuitive person though.

The other day, when I was meditating, I was playing around (trying to capture frequencies like a radio), and like testing my subconscious as I do with remote viewing. Then I started thinking about my grandfather. It’s odd because I then started seeing a bunch of images, even some that I’ve never seen for example, my (alive) grandma with a big smile with beautiful curly hair besides her garden. She hasn’t had curly hair in like 30 years. I also thought of sentences, like “your grandma cries too much at night”. I saw also stuff like my grandpa reading the newspaper and I could see the color and texture of the table cover. At the end of this meditation, I just thought, “I’m crazy”. And then a rush of chills and a good feeling came onto me.
The next time I saw my grandma she told me how every night she can’t sleep and just prays to die soon. It made me so sad, but it also confirmed what my experience during meditation had showed me. I try to call her more often now.

I also just bought a house and was very stressed out about it and my right ear started ringing like someone was calling me. I said “wait a minute, coming”. I went on my bed and closed my eyes to relax my mind a little bit. Then I saw my other grandpa and grandma so clearly, I cried a little bit. I kept seeing the backyard, with an idea that I will have some very beautiful moments in this particular backyard in future. I also felt like they were telling me that my mom is very proud of me (it’s my mom’s parents).

The next day my mom came to the inspection and told me how proud she was and almost cried.

Is this mediumship or just something else? I always saw mediumship as hearing what the deceased say but I have not heard anything at all. Only images and thoughts. I don’t know if I’m just far fetched in my imagination or if it’s real.

So the first time I tried to connect with spirit guides through a guided meditation 3 years ago, I had my first sleep paralysis on the same night. When I realized i was paralyzed on my bed, I thought it was kind of cool. I was just amazed like “Woah! This is what it feels like to be paralysed”. I could also hear all kind of sounds like whooshing and stuff. My eyes were open but I decided to close them and let it wear off.

The second time I tried to meet my guides was about 6 months later, and again with guided meditation. I had my second sleep paralysis that night, and I had let the door of my room open that day and could hear someone in the corridor was playing with the light switch, turning it on and off and on and off. I didn’t like that experience because I was just wondering, who the hell is doing that? I tried to fall back asleep and kept waking up again paralysed and hearing that sound.

So I have not had any other sleep paralysis since then and have not tried to meet guides either.

I’m just wondering, what is the link between guides and sleep paralysis, like what is the reason for this? I’ve read that you can easily astral travel from the sleep paralysis state but I didn’t knew that then. So was it an invitation to travel and see the guides?

Wondering if anyone has stories like this or any thoughts, because I’d like to meet the guides one day but I’m afraid to try again.
