The Path of Ascension (achievement for Within Your Grasp story step) (I'll say "SPOILERS" as CYA, but only just barely.)

After you meet up with your allies at the Temple of the Blessed Mantle, you'll start needing to clear out the trash to fill the bar. Along the way, on your left, there will be a room with a bunch of rolling, burning boulders, and you'll see a Lost Seer Spirit with the optional story icon over them. Choose "How can I help?" and "I'll see if I can find what you're looking for." After that, you need to find five tattered pages, "Path to Ascension Page (1 through 5)". Page two is on the second floor, and all the others are on the first floor.

After you've interacted with all the pages, go back to the Lost Seer Spirit and choose that there are four accounts.

Follow the seer and choose that there were eight days for their forebear, but fifteen for them.

Follow the seer again and choose that there were sixteen in their group.

Once more, follow the seer and say it took 23 days.

Finally, tell the seer it took 42 hours.

Do people raid casually?

I could be smug and say the title is self-explanatory, but the question is sincere, so I won't. But really, I'm just curious about the population here of what I'd consider *casual* raiders here, because that's something I'd want to do. From what I can tell, people who raid seem to be either really serious about it and want to do it as the bulk of their gameplay experience, or they bounce off it and not touch it at all or purely do it for a singular reward and promptly leave. But what about the people who just randomly want to do raids every once in a while? Do they even exist in this game? I've seen people who do that for strikes, but I'm talking specifically wings.

I ask, because I'm interested in trying raids out, because they seem like a fun change of pace (and I have Snow Crows raid builds and hit the Lion's Arch golem to not get too rusty, so I'd not be entering with wacky equipment and weird skills, and I'm not one to ever ask for a carry, even if I might struggle at the start). But I'm not interested in becoming a raider, per se. I like open world PvE far more than basically any other mode, but there are times when I'm in the mood for something different. Do people even do the casual raiding thing in GW2? Or is the barrier of entry (like with KP, the training guild system, etc.), by its very nature, too much for that idea to even exist?
