Hi, I just switched from Verizon to AT&T for my cell service today. I previously had a physical SIM card and was given an eSIM with the switch -- does this change anything? Everything seemed great until I realized how quiet my texts have been.... usually I'm bombarded by advertisement texts and such, but that suddenly raised a question in my head: is something not working, and will this affect things like 2FA texts that need you to confirm your identity through them? What about banking texts? Did a little digging, tried to test this....sure enough, nothing goes through. THAT is a huge problem. How long does this last for, and would having been given a physical sim card make this go any faster? Is there a possibility it may not automatically start working? What do I do? These are essential things I need to have access to on the daily. Will I receive any texts that should have arrived during the timeframe while it wasn't working for me, or are those lost to the ether?
