Hoping someone here can help. I have a 96 EZGO with the robbins engine that is having an intermittent issue. Randomly it will go from running full throttle to dying out like someone keeps turning the key on and off. Today I tested with a meter and alligator clips while driving and found the voltage when it dies is 18-20V and the voltage when running great is 14.5-16V. The battery is 5 years old so definitely isnt helping, but could a failing voltage regulator cause all of these random moments of overcharge?
