A couple years ago our shower was remodeled. It has been nothing but problems, but thats another story. Its going to be ripped out and redone by a different contractor. Before we do that though I want to figure out if theres anyway to stop what is currently happening outside of the shower.

There are two fans in the bathroom both pictured that we run every shower. Every shower there is literally moisture running down every wall. Its hard to see in the picture but it drips of water running down the wall around the entire bathroom. Also there are mildew or mold spots forming on the ceiling. Originally it wasnt too bad and I could clean it off. Cleaning it doesn't work anymore. We started with one fan, then they added a second when we complained. They are tied together in the attic, and they do run to outside. That has been verified.

Is there anything we can do to prevent this or at least make it less extreme. I know there will always be some moisture but the one contractor said they have never seen it this bad. They mentioned we could try a high quality paint like you would use in a spa room. Another contractor said we could tile the ceiling and completely enclose the shower. I just dont want to redo the shower and still have issues. Any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks.
