I am an illustrator and ive been wanting to publish an early grade illustrated novel because that fits the best with my writing. I have multiple ideas and its not the first time of mine illustrating the book , but i dont know that book is best to publish to have a better outlook for the future , so that i could have more options and not be caged into i genre. •I have a finished manuscript for a book that is talking about a sensitive topic (childloss) because i wanted it to be easier for vhildren to process it and for parents to explain. But primarily it is an identity journey, finding where the character belongs. •the second option is not written yet but idea and vharacter design are done. Its much more light hearted being anbout a girls summer adventures finding out about the world of faeries. Which book would it from the analytical point of view, and from your experience, better to have a debut with? Or am i overthinking it? Thank you in advance, i am very clueless.<3
