really any tips for hair care would be apricated!

No one else in my family has curly hair, and I've never really grown it out past a couple inches, so I have a very poor understanding of how to properly take care of my hair past the basics. Normally I cut it down to around 3 inches where I think it looks the best with the least amount of maintenance, but my fiancée is really smitten with how it looks long so I'm trying to make it work :)

I think my curl pattern is either 3B, but I am very likely wrong
