I’ve been trying to decide between the Nintendo Switch – Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Edition and the PlayStation 5, but honestly I still don’t know which one would fit me better.

What makes this decision difficult is that I enjoy both styles of gaming for different reasons. On one hand, I really like more minimalist and stylized games — games that focus more on fun gameplay, creativity, and unique art styles instead of trying to look extremely realistic. That’s one of the reasons why the Nintendo Switch attracts me so much, especially the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate edition. Nintendo games usually feel lighter, more colorful, and more creative, and I love that kind of experience.

At the same time, I also enjoy the kind of games the PS5 offers. Even though I’m not usually looking for ultra-realistic graphics, I can still appreciate cinematic games, powerful performance, and the more immersive experiences that PlayStation games provide. The PS5 has amazing exclusives and impressive technology, so part of me feels like it would be a great long-term choice too.

The problem is that my personal taste seems to lean more toward simple, fun, and less realistic games rather than highly detailed and serious ones. Still, I don’t want to ignore everything the PS5 can offer. Because of that, I keep going back and forth between the two consoles and I genuinely can’t decide which one I should choose.
