DIY = Jerry rigged in this situation. I used e6000 and a cork material I acquired from a create a gasket kit from ace hardware. The material flexes the same as the cone. It works wonders. It was a massive hole and I originally intended to replace the subwoofer or cone rather than spend money trying to get this one repaired. As you can see this subwoofer has seen some years. Well for about 10$ it will live on!
