Hi, all! Please give me grace with the words I am using, I can't for the life of me figure out what the name of my grandma's haircut is called.
I am going to visit my grandma in the hospital tomorrow and style her hair for her. She has the stereotypical tapered on the bottom, slightly longer on top, but generally short and cropped, often permed haircut of elderly women in the United States.
She currently does not have her hair permed. She normally has it done at the hair salon once a week. She usually has it styled with a slight wave.
I am definitely not a hair stylist, but I am baseline competent with hair. My best guess about how to accomplish how she normally wears it is a small round brush, blow dryer, volumizing hairspray?? Would you say that is accurate? She used to use curlers sometimes in the past, but has moved away from that in favor of her current hairstyle.
Thank you so much for any and all help and suggestions.
