Do most dentist prescribe antibiotics after an upper wisdom tooth extraction? Do you recommend irrigation with a syringe at some point or salt water rinses only?

Thanks in advance.

Extreme dental phobia and wisdom tooth removal

Is it possible to have 3 upper wisdom teeth (2 erupted, 1 impacted completed bony) with just local anesthetic? I’m 33 years old and worried about recovery and the procedure. I have what i think is an abscess on one so i don’t see much choice. But i’m so terrified that i can’t sleep, eat, or stop trembling. I struggle with health OCD and the possibility of things that could go wrong are plaguing me right now. I am going to a well rated dental surgeon outside of my normal dentist for this.

I just need some input on if this is feasible and doable with minimal pain with local anesthetic. I also took hydroxyzine 10 hours prior to the dental procedure. Is this going to interact with local anesthetic?

Need advice, suspect possible pericoronitis on upper wisdom tooth. No pain unless there is direct contact with it. Visible pink bump, no pus or discharge. Not much symptoms other than the visible bump. It showed up yesterday, would i be risking my life waiting to see a dentist later this week? 33M

Arrow points to the upper wisdom tooth in question. I’ve circled the bump area that seemed to appear suddenly yesterday. I live alone and deathly afraid of sepsis or a systemic infection.

If i’ve been on hydroxyzine daily for years, would i still be safe to be sedated for wisdom tooth removal? And could i still take antibiotics?

Asking so i don’t have any adverse reactions from orher chemicals mixing with the one built up in my system already.

33M. Is this an abscess or pericoronitis on my upper right wisdom tooth gum line? Hurts to touch. I’m worried about sepsis or systemic infection as it showed up today and i can’t get a dentist til later this week.
