I'm in my mid 20s and work a construction job. I broke my foot 2 months ago at work simply walking down the hallway and twisting onto my foot. When I seen the doctor after a couple visits (not sure if it was the 2nd 3rd or 3th visit) he told me it turned out to look like a previous fracture that I refractured but I somehow didn't notice the previous one. (The jones or 5th metatarsal)

I returned to work Wednesday because of no pain. However after working yesterday I had a bunch of inflammation like I did after I got hurt at work. I didn't have true pain as in the normal broken bone feeling in the foot after a week or two. The only symptom I have most of the time is inflammation and tingling after work.

It's a non union jones fracture and it have a 4th metarsal fracture from the incident as well. I called both my workers comp doctor and the specialist he referred me to. I don't see the specialist again until a month from now. I told the specialists office how I had a ton of inflammation after work. They are giving me a prescription for the inflammation and a doctor's excuse from work until I can see them again.

I'm out of work and a paycheck now for the foreseeable future and I don't see the specialist that my workers comp doctor referred me to again for a month. They said they would try to help me and move up the appointment if possible.

Advice on what to ask the doctors when I ask for a change from the panel.
