1938 L-00

Hello! I have what I believe to be a 1938 Gibson L-00. I recently inherited this from my grandfather. My understanding is that he purchased it right before he left for WWII.

It is all original as far as I can tell, and it has the original case as well. I looked inside with a borescope and didn't see any cracks/damage. The only issue that i see is some cracks/crazing on the finish.

Can someone confirm that I am correct on the model/year? Also any advice on a luthier I could take it to to go through it? I'd like to preserve it as best as possible so my son can inherit it one day. (He's only 12 right now)
