Hi folks! I've got about 1000 hours of A3 milsim under my belt, mostly in a medic/training role. Been out of the game for about a year or so after my last unit kind of died off, but recently saw RussianBadger's video and it gave me the milsim bug again. I want to get back into things.
So I'm looking for an NA unit that ideally has ops on Saturdays, and no attendance policy (I work nights as an ER tech so my schedule can be all over the place). I like a semi-serious vibe, where we get shit done and have good comms, but at the end of the day we realize it's game and we're still playing to have fun/fuck around a little.
A medical realism/difficulty mod past basic ACE medical is kind of a must for me. Something like KAT (my beloved) or ACM. Also, big ups if you have Antistasi running outside of normal op days/training, love me some good Antistasi with the boys.
In terms of era, I prefer anywhere from GWOT to the modern era, and I don't think I'd really be into Starsim or 40K type stuff. Also not really interested in participating in any units modeled after the Russian armed forces, just seems problematic right now.
I've got a lot of knowledge when it comes to medical (been an EMT/ER tech for almost 6 years now, and spent an ungodly amount of time doing medical milsim in a number of different games), and I love passing on that knowledge, so happy to step into training role eventually if the shoe fits.
I also have a good number of friends who are potentially on the lookout for a new unit, so if I join yours and it's a good time I may be a good resource for recruitment of solid dudes.
Feel free to shoot me a DM or comment if you think you have a unit that might be a good fit for me.
